Rebecca and her husband John were the perfect hosts. The place is exactly as is shown on the pictures, maybe even better. The pool has an area next to it that one can used as a space for breakfast/lunch/dinner, with all that is required right there (plates, glasses, fridge, dish washer, coffee machine, etc etc). And this comes in addition to the fully equipped kitchen inside (and when I say “fully” I do mean “fully”: that kitchen has more stuff than our own at home!). Kalamata town and beaches are a 10 minute drive from the house (you do need a car); Ithomi about 35 minutes; Mani further south takes longer because you need to get over the mountain (except if you rent a boat, in which case you could make Stoupa in 15 minutes from Kalamata). John has his boating licence and even took us out on a boat we rented to the other side of the bay + Rebecca and John took us out for dinner one night to a very good fish restaurant. In short, we can definitely recommend this place. The house is basically split into two separate apartments: the ground floor is the house Rebecca and John rent out and they live on the first floor (separate enterances). They left us the completely private use of the pool and its surroundings. We had a great stay and it was a big favourite with our kids (in terms of our entire Greek holiday).
